About Us
Who We are:
We are a group of Christians of various denominations who believe in the sanctity of life. We work together, looking to the Holy Spirit for guidance and strength. We want to educate the community and encourage and equip pastors to share the truth about abortion to their congregations.
We will also organize peaceful and prayerful events that give Christians the opportunity to put their faith into action by acting as witnesses to the sanctity of life to the larger community. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, and all donations are tax-deductible.
Staff:
Marie McCoy is our Executive Director. Marie has extensive experience in pro-life ministry, having served as Executive Director of the Pregnancy Resource Center of Fort Bend County for many years. She is currently on the Board of Directors of PRC. Marie has been an active member of St. Laurence Catholic community since 1991, and also currently serves on the Pastoral Council of St. Laurence.
Volunteers:
Christian Voices for Life depends on volunteer service of many kinds. Please let us know if you are interested in becoming involved to do data entry, to help with organizing Life Chain or 40 Days for Life, as a church liaison, or as a community relations volunteer to approach pastors or other community groups with information about our activities or programs. We would also welcome inquiry from those with the appropriate qualifications to serve as speakers or board members.
Distribute Option Line Business Cards: The Option Line is a 24/7 helpline (and web site: www.OptionLine.org) with information and support for anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy. Christian Voices for Life prints business cards with the Option Line information and makes them available free of charge to anyone interested in distributing them. Deliver Pro-Life Door Hangers: Christian Voices for Life has door hangers available with pro-life information. The delivery of these door hangers is considered canvassing, not soliciting, since there is no commercial purpose involved.
