Building a Culture of Life - What can one person do?
Current Action items:
1. Bring our open letter to your pastor. The letter encourages him to give three messages to the congregation that can prevent abortions.
2. Bring our open letter to your doctor. The letter encourages him to give appropriate information to his patients about contraceptives and their alternatives, and to refer patients asking about abortion to the Option Line.
3. Bring our open letter to your pharmacist. The letter encourages him to inform customers about the risks and possible abortifacient effective of contraceptives, and Plan B.
4. Sign the petition to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to provide accurate information about fertility awareness based methods (FABMs) of family planning. The site currently states that FABMs have low effectiveness, but the data is from old, flawed studies. More recent studies show very high effectiveness.
5. Contact authorities to call for a thorough investigation of Dr. Douglas Karpen.
There is ample evidence that Dr. Douglas Karpen, of Houston's Aaron's Women's Clinic, did illegal late term abortions, killed babies born alive, and did not follow the Texas law requiring that women seeking abortion be shown an ultrasound image of their child. Click here for a LifeNews story about Karpen which includes a video of former clinic workers telling what they saw.
In spite of the evidence, the Texas Medical Board dismissed the case, and a Harris County grand jury, led by Devon Anderson, failed to indict Dr. Karpen in 2013.
More recently, in early 2016, another grand jury led by District Attorney Anderson not only failed to indict Planned Parenthood for selling fetal body parts, but indicted the undercover investigator, David Daleiden, for buying them. Click here for the LifeNews story. Planned Parenthood is currently under investigation by both state and federal committees.
In November of 2016, Devon Anderson lost her bid for re-election as District Attorney to Kim Ogg.

I think it is a serious miscarriage of justice that Dr. Douglas Karpen was not indicted for killing babies born alive in his abortion clinic, doing illegal late term abortions, and not following the ultrasound law. Ample evidence is available. Please reopen the investigation of Dr. Karpen.
